FlorEcuador® program backs national

Backs national socio-environmental measures, and is a key actor in the Ecuadorian flower sector. While preventing or reducing negative environmental impacts associated with flower growing, it seeks to make it sustainable and competitive, continuously improving its practices and bringing in high social and environmental standards.

The FlorEcuador programme strives to improve the production system of each producer, introducing cleaner production processes. On the social front, it aims to ensure a safe work environment for human resources, thus minimizing labour risks, to create social wellbeing through staff training and development, and to enhance productivity.
